One-pixel links is one of the techniques in search engine optimization, SEO. However, be conscious that it is considered as a deceptive method in search engine optimization. Even if you can deceive the algorithms intelligently for a little while, you also have to be cautious about your competitors in the market as they will be vigilantly waiting to notice any issue to hinder you and will report it to the search engines. Search engines treat deceptive methods such as one pixel links, as very serious offenses and will ban a site permanently.

One pixel links is not a recommended SEO technique. However many people, who are not really bothered to follow the ethics of their work, use to consider one pixel links as  an easy short cut to get indexed in the search results. They include one pixel links in their webpage to deceive search engines and fulfill their motives.
